Our Mission

Packages From Home serves Active Duty US military members stationed or deployed overseas (to include military working dogs & military K9 teams) as well as  homeless, transitioning, and at-risk veterans by providing them with requested food, hygiene, and entertainment items to boost morale and quality of life.

Our Vision

To show our military members and veterans that we acknowledge & appreciate their many sacrifices in service of our freedoms as Americans. Our care packages and the supplies we provide are a token of our love and gratitude to these heroes.

How It All Began | Our Story

On 9/11 Christian Lewis watched the Twin Towers fall and enlisted in the US Army infantry the next day. His mother, and Packages From Home Founder, Kathleen Lewis, sent him care packages while he was first deployed to Iraq in 2004. Christian said receiving Packages From Home not only provided needed and familiar items but also reminded him he hadn't been forgotten-that there were people back home supporting him. Unfortunately, Christian was the only soldier in his squad receiving packages and letters from home.  Kathleen rallied her closest friends and decided to “adopt” Christian’s entire squad.  The group began shipping packages to all of the troops in Christian’s unit and Packages From Home was born.
